Scotland goes big for Halloween! With a rich history and traditions, it’s no surprise why Scotland has some of the best attractions and events for this spooky season. Us at Easicamper’s have compiled a few recommendations for celebrating in Scotland this year.

Ghost Tours

This is a classic, and no where does it better! Scotland’s brilliant array of historical buildings and traditions provide a great range of ghost tours to choose from! Whether you believe in ghosts or not, exploring history through theatrical silliness and terrifying moments will be a treat for everyone!

The Scottish Witch Trail Guided Tour is an excellent option, running from October 15th to November 1st 2026. Taking place within a beautiful castle, this immersive trail is filled this history’s haunting tales told by an expert guide with a dram of whiskey included. Located within Edinburgh, its a close option to our branch, and definitely worth checking out!

Another highly recommended ghost tour is the World Famous Underground Ghost Tour! This evening tour is the origin of the ghost tours, showcasing the cities sinister and spookier side. Explore the city’s underground vaults to uncover their spirits and secrets! Led by a costumed guide, immerses the visitors into the spooky spirit ideal for families.

Glasglow

This family friendly event is a beautiful light trail through Glasgow’s Botanical gardens. Light, sound and special effects transform the area into a zombie zoo! Wonder through a glowing pumpkin patch to soak up the Halloween atmosphere, or pickup some food at the food village or marshmallow land! This stunning event is on from the 16th of October until the 1st of November!

Spooktacular

Spooktacular brings 20 attractions for thrill seekers and families this Halloween! Located within Glasgow, a ticket gives you 4 hours of unlimited rides. Running from the 2nd of October until the 1st of November gives you plenty of time to plan your trip! Sessions run from 5-9pm on a weekday and 12-4pm & 5-9pm on weekends, giving you plenty of time to enjoy all the attractions and classic carnival food for offer!

Glastonbury 2027 – Hiring a Campervan

Glastonbury’s dates have now been confirmed to start the 23rd of June to the 27th of June. Thousands of people will be rushing to get tickets to see one of the biggest music festivals in the world!

With tickets on sale the 1st of October at 6pm, its the perfect time to start planning how you will be sleeping! Secure yourself a campervan or motorhome early to avoid typical camping problems.

Securing yourself a Campervan and Tickets

Choosing to go in a campervan is a great option, providing you a space to cook, shower and sleep in comfort. The demand for campervan tickets is incredibly high, so it is important to be prepared for when these go on sale. Usually these tickets go on sale a few weeks after general ticket sale. The campervan tickets are available for an additional fee of £200-300 pounds.

In order to purchase campervan tickets, you must already have a general ticket.

We have a great range of campervans available for hire across locations in Edinburgh, Preston, Wolverhampton and Wigan. In order to avoid disappointment we encourage enquiries and bookings on our campervans months in advance.

Facilities in the Campervan Fields

Within the campervan fields at Glastonbury there are toilets, waste water containers, fresh water and 24hr food traders. If you are hiring a campervan with us which contains it’s own toilet, we require the waste containers to be empty on return.

This compact 4 berth campervan is equipped with a lower sleeping bed and a pop up roof bed. For dining there is a fold out dining table, 42 litre compact fridge and a cooker with 3 gas burners. Wanting to relax outside of your campervan? This campervan has a built in awning so you can relax under shelter in any weather.

Imala 615 Motorhome

A spacious 4 berth motorhome, with a washroom, toilet and well-equipped kitchen. This motorhome is ideal for groups traveling with all the luxuries you would need.

Ford Zefiro 675 Motorhome

This 6 berth motorhome is equipped with a kitchen, shower and toilet. Ideal for larger groups traveling this festival season! No need to worry about toilet queues or needing a shower in this motorhome.
