Can I leave my car at your Wolverhampton branch?
Yes you can. We have a large secure car park with 24hr monitoring. This is free of charge. You leave your car at your own risk but the site has 24 hr monitoring and is very secure. We need it secure as we have very expensive motorhomes there.
What time can I collect the motorhome?
Collection time is normally 14:00 hrs but please ring a few days before if you require and earlier collection with no extra cost. If we can do this we will. It depends on the previous hire but during quiet, off season periods we will di this for you.
Can I leave heavy luggage there whilst we have the campervan or motorhome on rent?
Yes you can. We have a room to store luggage.
Is there a minimum period for renting the campervan?
Yes, 3 days is the minimum hire period.
Is there a minimum age requirement to hire your campers and motorhomes?
Yes, the minimum age for a campervan is 25years and held a license for 2 years.
How many penalty points are allowed on my license?
If you are registered in the UK and have more than 6 points on your driving license you will not be able to drive our vehicle
What paperwork do I require to hire the camper or motorhome?
For all UK registered renters, a driver license check is compulsory at the time of pick-up at Wolverhampton in order to be fully covered by our insurance package.
You will need to provide the following:
• Driving license number
• Address information (As displayed on Driver’s license)
• National Insurance ID
You can enter the required information on the Official DVLA website https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence in advance and generate a “check code” and show it at the time of pick-up at the station.
Please note that this code is only valid for 21 days.
What if I am from a EU country coming to Wolverhampton for my campervan?
Drivers with a driver’s license from other European countries picking up our vehicles from Wolverhampton are not subject to the driver license check.
What if I want to hire from outside the EU?
We treat visitors from the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand the same as EU travellers above. For the rest of the world we need to refer you to our insurance company and this will take 24 hrs to get approval.
Can we get a coffee at your branch?
Yes of course we have free coffee and tea for our guests.
How long will it take to check out the camper or motorhome so that we can be on our way?
It usually takes about one hour as they can be quite complicated with the various on board facilities such as hot water, heating, and cooking.
Do I need to purchase gas?
It is recommended that you buy a full gas bottle as the gas is used for heating, cooking, and hot water.
What time do I return the motorhome?
It is important that you return the campervan or motorhome by 10am in the morning so that we can prepare the van for our next customer at 14:00
Are your campers and motorhome pet friendly?
Yes, we are dog lovers so please bring your pooch with you for a great road trip around the UK.

California Ocean – Automatic
Our VW California Ocean’s are top of the range, new T6.1 models with automatic gearboxes. They come with an awning and a bike rack for 4 bilkes and 2 chairs stored in the boot section and an outside table cleverly stored in the sliding side door. There is a small kitchen with a hob and a fridge. Sleeping is for four people. The kitchen is equipped with all the pots and pans you need and utensils, plates and mugs. Bedding can be provided at an extra cost.
Grand California – Automatic
This is our flagship model and the pride of our fleet. And the most expensive !!!These are the latest 4 berth additions to our fleet with all the facilities of the california ocean above BUT with a shower room and toilet which makes them ideal for wild camping around the West Midlands. They are an amazing bit of kit and do everything that the california ocean does only better!
Expedition 66 (2 berth) / Expedition 67 (4 berth)
These are our brand new models for 2024 and are ideal for wild camping as they too have a bathroom on board and kitchen with a fridge. They are fully equipped for your wild camping around Clent Hills and the carravanning Club Site. They are ideal for the narrow lanes around the islands.
Imala 4 berth / Zefiro 6
The Imala 4 berth and the Zefiro 6 berth are our bigger motorhomes, ideal for families and are fully loaded with all that you need.
BEST TIME TO HIRE A CAMPER OR MOTORHOME IN WOLVERHAMPTON
It is always cheaper to hire the campers and motorhomes off season. Our peak periods are July and August and these months are more expensive. We are open all year so autumn, winter, and spring are always the best times to get bargains, often half the price of summer. All our motorhomes are suitable for cold weather camping.
WATER, WATER EVERYWHERE IN WOLVERHAMPTON
Yes, water is very plentiful in the West Midlands but you need to make sure you have enough on board when you collect your camper or motorhome from our Wolverhampton location. We can fill the fresh water tanks for you but if you are going to a camp site for your first stop it may be an idea to fill up there as water is very heavy and can lower fuel consumption. Otherwise we will fill the camper for you. Be very careful with your waste water as this can only be emptied in designated places. Please refer to www.campa.org for a full list of disposal points for all your waste. Keep Wolverhampton Tidy. Please leave it as you found it.

STOCKING UP WITH GOODIES FOR YOUR ROAD TRIP AROUND WOLVERHAMPTON
Stocking up with food and essentials for your motorhome adventure from Wolverhampton is important. If you are heading north or to the islands you will need to stock up with food and drinks.Your camper or motorhome comes fully equipped but you will need to buy food and drinks. There are lots of supermarkets in the area and our staff will point you in the right direction to stock up on goodies. Lidl is just next door to us and a very large Morrisons is around the corner which is ideal for a big shop with everything you need. Our staff will point them out to you.
NEAREST FUEL STATION WITH COFFEE SHOP AND GREGGS
Just down the road from our Wolverhampton Branch is a fuel station where you can buy diesel and adblue. It is important when you return the motorhome that you replenish the diesel and adblue at the same level you collected it on. To find the fuel station just drive down the road to the first roundabout and turn a sharp left. The fuel station is there. Don’t forget to buy a Gregg’s pie as they are delicious. with Bilstons local town centre just 1 Mile down the road if you need to shop. Don’t forget all our vehicles are DIESEL.
CAMPING NEAR WOLVERHAMPTON AND BEYOND
If you want to make your first stop nearby while you get used to the motorhome there are lots of local sites, such as RIVERSIDE PARK. Riverside Park is part of Stratford Parks and is situated on the River Avon in the village of Tiddington, just one mile outside world-famous Stratford-upon-Avon. We have approximately 65 grass touring pitches for caravans, motorhomes, campervans and American RVs all of which provide electric hook-up. Riverfront pitches are available – please enquire when booking as there is a nightly surcharge. We also offer self-catering accommodation with a choice of static caravans, lodges or cottages and glamping accommodation. There is a choice of three glamping options – beehives, log pods or snugs offering a slightly different style. Please take a look at our website for full details of the accommodation on offer.
