Day 1:
- Pick up your motorhome from Easicampers in our Wigan location which services Manchester in the afternoon.
- Head north towards the Lake District, one of the most beautiful and popular national parks in the UK.
- Stop for a late lunch in the charming town of Kendal, known for its traditional architecture and outdoor clothing shops.
- After lunch, continue to Windermere, the largest natural lake in England, and check into your campsite for the night.
- In the evening, take a leisurely stroll along the lake shore, or enjoy a cruise on the lake itself.
Day 2:
- Wake up early and set off to explore the stunning landscape of the Lake District.
- Visit the charming village of Grasmere, where William Wordsworth lived and wrote some of his most famous poems.
- Stop at Tarn Hows, a beautiful tarn surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery.
- Continue on to Coniston Water and take a leisurely cruise on the lake.
- In the afternoon, visit the Ruskin Museum in Coniston, which tells the story of the area’s history and culture.
- Return to your campsite in Windermere for the night.
Day 3:
- After breakfast, head to the western part of the Lake District, where you’ll find some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the region.
- Visit the picturesque village of Wasdale, home to England’s highest mountain, Scafell Pike, as well as some of the country’s most challenging hiking trails.
- Take a hike up to the summit of Scafell Pike for a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
- After your hike, head to the seaside village of Ravenglass, where you can take a ride on the Ravenglass and Eskdale Steam Railway.
- Return to your campsite in Windermere for the night.
Day 4:
- Today, leave the Lake District behind and drive west towards the coast.
- Stop in the historic Roman city of Chester, where you can visit the Roman amphitheater, the medieval cathedral, and the city walls.
- After lunch, continue on to Liverpool, birthplace of the Beatles, and check into your campsite for the night.
- In the evening, take a stroll around the Albert Dock, home to a variety of shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions, including the Beatles Story museum.
Day 5:
- After breakfast, set off to explore Liverpool’s rich cultural heritage.
- Visit the Beatles childhood homes, and then take a guided tour of the famous Cavern Club, where the Beatles played many of their early gigs.
- Afternoon you can Visit Anfield stadium, home of Liverpool F.C., take a stadium tour and learn about the club’s history and achievements.
- Return to your campsite for the night.
Day 6:
- After breakfast, leave Liverpool and head north towards the Peak District, another of England’s most beautiful national parks.
- Stop in the spa town of Buxton, where you can visit the Pavilion Gardens and the Buxton Opera House.
- After lunch, continue to Castleton, known for its historic castle and the famous Blue John Cavern.
- Take a guided tour of the cavern to see the beautiful veins of Blue John stone.
- Return to your campsite for the night.
