Hiring a Motorhome/ Campervan from Birmingham Airport
Collecting your Motorhome/ Campervan from Birmingham Airport is both easy and convenient. Someone will be there to greet you and hand over the keys in person, therefore you can ensure safety at all costs. There is also plenty to do once you land or arrive at Birmingham Airport, be it food or drink you are after, or a visit to some of the nearby attractions before you start your trip.
You may be surprised to know just how many countryside based attractions exist near Birmingham Airport, for example Sheldon Country Park, which is something that all the family can enjoy. It has animals, a children’s play area, as well as beautiful mapped out walks. Another beautiful place to visit for walking is Elmdon Park, which is a suburban park, however lovely to walk through and lots to keep children occupied. Likewise for children there is the Haystacks Play Barn nearby which is a safe and tranquil place for children to play, and refreshments are served too. All these places provide parking which is ideal for your rented van.
If culture is more your thing then you have quite a choice. The National Exhibition Centre (NEC) has some great events throughout the year, as does Solihull Arts Complex. The National Motorcycle Museum is a must for anyone interested in bikes, or you might like to try the Flatout Factory or the Land Rover Experience for other vehicle related fun. Cinemas and theatres can be found easily, as can places for food and drink which are easy to come by in this area of Birmingham.

A Classical Music Festival Motorhome/ Campervan trip
Here I have a Music Festival that’s not a typical ‘Music Festival’. This music festival is for all those Classical music lovers out there. Hire a Motorhome/ Campervan from our Birmingham Depot and head straight to Minehead for a week of truly beautiful music at the Regal Theatre Minehead & the Minehead Methodist Church from Sunday 24th July to Saturday 30th July 2016.
The Minehead Music Festival is 52 years old this year. Each year it has provided a full symphony orchestra with internationally renowned soloists producing four concerts in a week in West Somerset. All concerts feature the Festival Orchestra conducted by Richard Dickins, who, as Director of Music at Imperial College, London and principal conductor at the Royal College of Music Junior Department, is able to ensure the appearance of well-established soloists as well as up and coming stars.
The Festival has been described as “Music performed at a level of excellence always amazing to those who hear it, especially for the first time.” “… a most exciting and stimulating experience.” And when you’re not at the theatre you can explore Minehead. It is a superb destination, a typical traditional seaside holiday resort. It is ideally situated to explore the stunning scenery of Exmoor and the Quantock Hills, Minehead is the starting point of the South West Coast Path National Trail, the nation’s longest long-distance countryside walking trail. Minehead also offers a long flat sandy beach (perfect for Sand Castles), great for picnics and games.
