National Trust in the North West

Are you a fan of sprawling countryside, coastal walks or castles and houses then the National Trust is ideal for you. Why not make a week of it and hire one of Easicampers brand new VW T6.1 campervans.

You can visit a trust site with either a full membership or just pay to visit once you arrive at the place of interest.

  1. Gawthorpe Hall: Located in Burnley, Gawthorpe Hall is a beautiful Elizabethan country house that dates back to the early 17th century. The hall is renowned for its impressive collections of textiles, including lace, embroidery, and needlework.
  2. Rufford Old Hall: This charming 16th-century Tudor building is located in Ormskirk and is surrounded by beautiful gardens and woodland. Visitors can explore the Great Hall, the Old Kitchen, and the Victorian Billiard Room, among other areas.
  3. Formby Point: Located on the coast close to the Victorian seaside town of Southport. A walk along sprawling sand dunes and through asparagus fields. During the autumn months the forest comes alive with red squirrels and natterjack toads.
  4. Heysham Head: This beautiful coastal site near Morecambe is home to an ancient chapel, burial grounds, and stunning views of the coast. The site is also home to a variety of rare plant species.
