Liverpool Airport Campervan Hire

We all remember the iconic old traditional VW Campers some are still in active use today, everyone heading down south to the beaches of Cornwall and Devon with their surfboards in tow. Well although times have changed and the VW campers have changed dramatically in shape and power the new California Oceans are one on their own.

Offering brand new interiors and room for four to comfortably sleep and seat ,the 2018/19 T6 VW California campervans are amazing. With 7 speed auto transmission, economical on fuel you get around 600 miles to a full tank (if not more dependent on your driving style).

If you hire a Campervan from Easicampers Liverpool Airport you are getting a fantastic vehicle. Sleeping 4 on two double beds one in the pop up roof and the other acting as your bench seat there is an abundance of space. Pop up the roof once you arrive at your destination so you can sit around the table and reflect on your trip to your first stop over.

With a 3 burner gas hob which runs off a small camping gaz bottle this is ideal for cooking full breakfast on or just to boil your kettle for your morning brew whilst enjoying the idyllic countryside with your sliding door open enjoying the sights and sounds.

If you hire a VW campervan from our Livepool Airport depot you are in for a real treat. Smooth to drive, easy to manoeuvre and perfect to park up in normal car parking spaces (no extra room needed here).

Our VW Campervans all have central heating. This works off the diesel system on the vehicle this must be kept over a ¼ of a tank at all times otherwise this will not function correctly.

The T6 VW California Campervans we have at Liverpool Airport can be hired for 3, 4, 5,7 days or longer(season dependent ring to check first before you book).

We get a lot of customers who travel to North Wales to visit the mountains and coastlines, up to the Lakes for a trip round the most glorious part of England(in my opinion anyway), you could even venture up to the Scottish Highlands if you have more time but with unlimited mileage you can go where your heart takes you. Or it might be the lure of the surf in Cornwall and Devon that you want to experience a VW California in.

A lot of people hire our campervans with a view to buying them afterwards we also do that we have a full range of T6 2017 plates for sale that are ex hire vehicles.

If you would like to book a Campervan from Liverpool Airport then give us a call on our dedicated booking line or email us for more details.

Valentine Motorhome Hire

When you think of Valentine’s Day, would you consider a motorhome trip? If your answer was no, well I’m here to change your mind and give you plenty of reasons to enjoy an Easicampers Motorhome for that romantic time away with the one you love. If your answer was yes, then here are some great ideas for your trip.

So now that you have decided that you want to go on a romantic adventure in a motorhome, you can start to plan your trip.

So when you think of Glamping in your motorhome, what springs to mind? Some people would say muddy shoes and cold beans on toast. I can honestly say that in my experience of going away in a motorhome, I have never had cold beans on toast or muddy shoes for that matter. Whatever your enjoyment is, there are plenty of sites that would suit the muddy shoes type of traveller or the more Glamorous type of traveller. You can plan which site to stay on at https://www.pitchup.com/tents/Scotland/Scotland/Lothian/Edinburgh/ this is one of my favourite sites to plan your journey. You can select the type of site, so if you want a pitch with electric points, you can select this & also the distance from where you want to see or go to.

There are some fabulous places to visit in and around Edinburgh, so whether you are an outdoorsy type of traveller or you like the hustle & bustle of the City life, there is plenty to enjoy here. You should plan what you would like to do while in this beautiful City of Edinburgh. So for the love birds, you could enjoy creating a keepsake of your romantic time away together at the ceramic experience, the company has many years of experience in creating the best keepsakes, whether it is a 3D cast or imprint you are looking for, they have it all. You can visit their website for further details & to book on: http://theceramicexperience.com/

If you like having the wind in your hair and enjoy romantic strolls hand in hand, you could take a walk or a romantic sunset stroll up Calton Hill to enjoy the breath-taking views of this lovely City, who knows, if you are planning to pop the question, what a great place to do it, overlooking the stunning views of Edinburgh.

So the main part of your Valentines evening would usually be taking your loved one out for a lovely meal, however, personally I find a cooked meal by my husband has far more meaning and sentiment, they have actually taken the time to prepare and cook the meal for you. The beauty of hiring a motorhome from us here at easicampers is that you have all the luxuries of home, so you have the fridge & freezer to keep the food & wine cool, you have the stove for cooking that special meal and also the oven for cooking. So if you have any ideas of struggling with a small camping stove, get them out of your mind. You can enjoy cooking together and chatting or you could sit with your feet up and a lovely glass of your favourite tipple while your other half prepares a lovely meal for you. Pre planning is the key here, you should decide on the meal you would like to prepare, my favourite would be something like Pan fried chicken with a Diane sauce and oven roasted vegetables. Simple but fantastic and with all your utensils provided, you don’t need to stress about taking all your pots & pans with you.

After you have enjoyed your meal together why not entertain yourself with a cosy evening in the motorhome, you could hire one of our portable DVD players and watch a romantic movie together, or if you prefer there is still plenty to do in and around Edinburgh including a visit to the theatre, a snuggle at the cinema or even enjoy an evening at the Observatory where you could see if love is in the stars for you?? The Royal Observatory’s Public Astronomy evenings run on selected Friday evenings up to April. You can check dates and make a booking here https://www.roe.ac.uk/vc/public-events/astronomy-evenings

I really hope this helps with that romantic trip away and has given you some Ideas as to how best to plan your trip and enjoy that special time together.

Happy Valentines!!

Motorhome Winter Tips

Motorhome/RV Winter Tips

If you are hiring a motorhome from us at Easicampers this winter then here a few helpful tips to make sure you get the most out of your motorhome/RV experience in the UK. Here at Easicampers we strive to give our customers a first rate experience.

Gas Bottles

During the winter month’s when using your hired motorhome/RV you will use more gas on the heating and hot water in the vehicle. Also if you aren’t on a camp site with hook up connection, the fridge will run of the gas supply. We supply you with a gas bottle that is remaining in the vehicle of its last hire. If you do want to make sure you have a full bottle as well as this one bottle we do hire them out at a cost of £45. We do need notice for this so please book in advance.  if you don’t request this and turn up at one of our airport branches we can’t get a bottle but if you are collecting from our local city branches (Wigan,Preston,Blackburn) this is subject to availability.

Windows/Vents

Make sure at night your windows are shut completely. Any windows left slightly ajar will let the cold weather /rain in. The window over the table in your motorhome needs to be shut for your heating to work correctly. Make sure any roof openings (windows/vents) are shut correctly. To keep more heat in the vehicle it is advisable to put the 2 blinds down over every window. Also you are provided with front window blinds to go on your windscreen and side front windows.

Water tank

During the winter season where temperatures drop your motorhome water system will dump its water if the vehicle gets too cold. If you think the temperature will drop we advise to empty your water tank to the  minimum so you don’t lose water. Always make sure you drain your waste water tank more regular during the cold snap.

Heating

Your heating system in the motorhome goes upto 30 degrees, if there are 6 of you in the vehicle it will get really warm. The warmer you have the heating the more gas it burns, these vehicles do get really warm. Ideally if you put the vehicle heating on about 6pm on a temperature of round 15- 16 degrees for a few hours this will keep you warm over night with the correct bedding that is.
You can set your heating to come on at certain times. So if you want it on at 10pm and then 7am these vehicles allow you to do that.

If you need any more advice on your motorhome hire over winter please call us on 01942 778899 to speak to one of our knowledgeable members of staff.
