The Scott monument is a Victorian Gothic monument to Scottish author Sir Walter Scott. The Scott monument is also a popular point where visitors come to look at scenic views, it is the second largest monument in the world with 288 steps and is in Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh. The Scott monument is a tower that is 200 feet 6 inches high. It has a series of platforms where you can view the stunning sceneries. It’s made of narrow spiral staircases that give you views of central Edinburgh and its surroundings. At the monument there are 68 figurative statues but only 64 of them are visible from the ground.
