F1 drivers call the British Grand Prix at the iconic Silverstone circuit ‘insanely fast’. We simply call it one of the world’s greatest sporting events. Throw in a great weekend-long party and the race is on. We’ve got an incredible weekend of concerts lined up for fans. Texas will be the headline act on Silverstone’s main stage with Scouting for Girls also performing a full set, on Saturday Mike & the Mechanics will be on the main stage and The Feeling will be playing at the Grand Prix after Party on Sunday. All of the concerts are included on the days you have purchased your tickets for so make sure to stick around in the evening.
Silverstone Circuit is located near the small town of Silverstone, Northamptonshire. Luton Airport is the closest Airport to Silverstone, located approximately 75km from the circuit. However, flight availability is limited and international visitors may want to consider London Heathrow, London Gatwick, or London Stansted we can deliver your campervan to the airport depots for you. Train services run from London Euston station to the towns near the circuit, or alternatively, it takes about 90 minutes by car or bus.
If proximity to the circuit is your main criteria then the small towns of Towcester and Brackley are only a few miles from Silverstone. However, space is limited so you may want to consider the larger towns of Northampton (25km from circuit) and Milton Keynes (35km from circuit), Similarly, the beautiful town of Oxford is located about 50km away.
Although further away, London is also a viable option for campsites and offers all the benefits that come from staying in one of the largest and most historical cities in the world.

Silverstone Woodlands Campsite
The official circuit campsite is located 250 metres south of the circuit near Club Corner. Purpose-built facilities are available, including toilets, hot showers, family facilities, basic shop provisions. Prices range from £27 to £105.
Whittle bury Park Campsite
Whittle bury Park is set in over 600 acres of picturesque parkland, located a few hundred metres east of the circuit near the Copse grandstand entrance. The campsite provides a mix of permanent and temporary facilities Prices range from £173 to £226.
Intents GP F1 Campsite
Intents GP provide a campsite with pre-erected tents so all you need to do is arrive and they will take care of everything else. The package includes: Prices range from £300 to £1,390.
